Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced PHP Developer proficient in the Laravel framework to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing robust and scalable web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework. Additionally, knowledge of modern frontend technologies such as ReactJS, Node.js, Next.js, ether js or TypeScript will be considered a significant advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards
- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services and APIs
- Participate in the entire software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and other developers
- Optimize application performance and ensure security best practices are followed
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web development, particularly related to PHP and Laravel
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with PHP and the Laravel framework
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Experience with ReactJS, a popular JavaScript library for building user interfaces
- Knowledge of Node.js and its ecosystem for server-side JavaScript development
- Familiarity with Next.js, a React framework for server-side rendering and static site generation
- Understanding of TypeScript, a statically-typed superset of JavaScript
- Experience with modern front-end build tools and bundlers (e.g., Webpack, Babel)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and deployment pipelines
